DFEH released new training requirements November 26, 2018!  Pursuant to SB 1343, GC 12950.1 is being amended to require one hour of training , for all non-supervisorial employees, on harassment based on sex, gender identity/sexual orientation, and the definition and prevention of abusive conductAll training must be done by January 1, 2020.  NCSC will be offering classes throughout 2019 to assist employers in meeting the new requirements.

Pursuant to AB 1825, AB 2053 & SB 396 (6/2005,1/1/15 & 1/1/18) (Sexual) Harassment training must be provided by employers every 2 years.  GC §12950.1, training covers information, in the required interactive format, including practical examples regarding the prohibition against, and the prevention of, harassment based on sex/sexual orientation/gender identity-expression and the  definition and prevention of abusive conduct.  *New start time for class.
