SB553 went into effect 7/1 of 2024.  The code requires that training is done annually.  NCSC offers this class to help employers meet that requirement.  Class will cover requirements for the training element- How to recognize the potential for violence, how to counteract, when and how to seek assistance,strategies to avoid physical harm, recognition of alerts, how to use escape routes, how to prepare for an active shooter scenario, and how to report incidents to law enforcement.  We will also discuss individual (employers) plans and site specific protocols.  Course length is approximate.
