AHA course for those requiring “basic” layperson or one-person rescuer CPR training. Course follows new 2020 AHA Guidelines, and includes Adult/Child CPR, choking and AED overview, as well as a discussion on naloxone. All students will perform CPR on manikins as part of successful course completion. Infant CPR may be requested in advance. This is the Basic First Aid course ideal for any industry or personal use. Basic First Aid, as distinct from CPR, covers all basic, bodily injury and illness emergencies that may be encountered at work, as well as home-cuts and broken bones to seizures, falls and auto accidents; heat illness to cold emergencies. Course follows new AHA 2020 guidelines. ****You will be asked to sanitize your hands as you enter the building, put on shoe covers and donn a fresh face mask (provided) during the course of the class. All social distancing guidelines, and non-sharing of equipment are enforced.**
