George Walker
Date of Class:
Wednesday, September 20, 2017 - 9:00am to 1:00pm

The training will provide a review of the new standards on exposure to respirable crystalline silica in the construction industry.  New standards have lowered the permissible exposure limits, and made requirements for written plans on exposure assessment and inspections by a designated competent person, as well as medical surveillance when there is a hazard of exposure.  Join us to learn the requirements for 'competent person' and details of exposure assessments, the medical surveillance program and the elements of the written exposure control plan.
